Leaf

Leaf is a line of rechargeable sex toys inspired by nature. I’m quite into the Life.

Runaway dildo winner!

Runaway dildo winner!

When SheVibe found the last living neon green Mustang under a low shelf in their warehouse, we had to team up to give it away. And because any dildo pairs well with a nice vibe, we decided the winner would also get a Leaf vibe of their choice. The lucky winner of this pairing is Kara! She chose the Leaf Life (oh hey, I like that one too!) and wrote back: OOOOHHH MY GOD YOU JUST MADE ME DANCE AROUND MY APARTMENT IN JOY! MY DOG ALSO JOINED IN. You are spreading joy and orgasms around the world. Also, I want to extend a slow clap to all of your comments about which discontinued toys (and companies) should come back, and which current toys should be . . . read more

Giveaway: the runaway dildo

Giveaway: the runaway dildo

Back in October, we mourned the discontinuation of some of the loveliest neon dildos from Vixen Creations, including the green Mustang and all neon versions of the Maverick. I thought they were all gone forever. BUT THEN this email from SheVibe happened: Dude, you’ll never guess what I found in the warehouse. A GREEN MUSTANG!! It had rolled underneath a low shelf, we don’t even have them on the site anymore. It must be the last living one — wanna do a giveaway? If I do nothing else in my life, at least I can be the person who gives away rare dildos in a color that may never happen again in our lifetimes. The Mustang is one of my all-time favorites: its squishy dual-density . . . read more

Crowdfunding. Again. Always and forever. This time for wooden dildos, which, if you ask the creator, may just be the first wooden dildos ever! The company name is Dee Lee Doo, which I find really childish and upsetting for some reason. Oops, they didn’t reach their $10,000 goal. Tenga’s latest thing (are they going to have a new thing every month?) is the Iroha Mini which, as it turns out, isn’t any smaller than the Iroha vibes, nor is it similar at all. It’s battery-operated and has one speed. Joanna Angel’s incredible vulva has become a Fleshlight! Halleloo! The company that perpetrated the self-lubricating vibrator has unveiled a series of self-lubricating vibrators based on Twilight. According to the company, this series . . . read more

Epiphora’s best and worst sex toys of 2012

[Check out my annual best/worst tag for older and newer lists!] Ahhh, yearly traditions! As 2012 comes to a close (how did that happen, though, seriously?!), the time has come for me to recount my most loved and most hated sex toys that I tried this year. As in 2011 and 2010, I’ll first list the best/worst toys, then give out faux awards such as “Most Heinous Battery Compartment” and “I Risked My Life For You; You Are Welcome.” Don’t forget to comment with which toys you loved and hated this year! Best sex toys of 2012 Crystal Delights Crystal Twist — I thought I’d felt it all, especially when it came to glass dildos. I had not. The Crystal Twist is an . . . read more

Review: Life

Review: Life

The Leaf Life looks like something you’d pick up along a nature trail. Colored a cheery green and shaped like a fat leaf or a pointy slug, the Life comes from a line of vibes inspired by nature that I found too intriguing to ignore. And I’m glad I tried one (the right one, perhaps), because… I really like it. The Life comes in a brown cardboard box that looks all eco-schmancy, but there’s nothing that makes this toy more eco-friendly than any other rechargeable vibe. It does come with a sweet storage bag. It does not charge magnetically, but instead one must impale the toy with a jack in the same way as with the Jopen Vanity vibes. You’d think this . . . read more

Hell Yes: Leaf

Hell Yes: Leaf

Update! I reviewed the Leaf Life. Browse the whole Leaf line at SheVibe. BMS Enterprises has not made much of anything that’s too terribly noteworthy. They make locking toy cases, an extensive line of bullets, and they designed the Jopen line, but that’s about it. UNTIL NOW. Now, it looks like they’re trying to break through into the luxury market — and the hippie market — with their sleek new rechargeable line, Leaf. Fresh, Bloom, Touch, Vitality, Life, Spirit The entire line comes in the most gorgeous grass green silicone, and is available in NO OTHER COLOR, which I am just quivering with excitement about. Couple that with a refreshingly well-designed website and product photos that rotate mesmerizingly, and I must say, I . . . read more
