My 2-year anniversary of blogging — and 3-year anniversary of sex toy reviewing — is approaching fast! And of course, I can’t resist an opportunity to shower y’all in fabulous prizes. So I contacted some great companies, and they helped me put together a blogiversary giveaway of epic proportions: 8 prizes!

Ways you could improve your blog:
1. Review really popular toys that people shouldn’t buy – like a popular jelly rabbit vibe. This would give people a GOOD resource to see when they google the name of a toy like that. Yes, you’d have to take some for the team – but look at the opportunity you’d have to educate people away from crappy toys.

Follow-up summaries of your reviewed items. Maybe once a month you could give us a short summary of why or why not you still like a product – if you liked it in the first place. I wouldn’t care about a follow-up if you didn’t like it, but I am curious what happens to the toys you like, but don’t l-o-v-e.

This blog is awesome. It is hard to think of any improvement to suggest. But . . . I am a fellow cat lover and totally think you should try to post as many pictures of your babies as possible.
Whether or not your dildos and vibrators play a cameo in those photos is up to you — we all know who the *real* stars are in any pic that a feline deigns to grace with his/her presence.

Okay, one more suggestion (and this is one that I know you are most likely planning on doing anyway . . . ): Write a review for every single toy on your Toy Box list (as if you do not have quite enough to do). I keep looking over your list of fab toys (jealous, by the way!) and wondering what you think about certain toys without reviews (case in point: the Jollies Thrust and Wet For Her Two).

As for improvements, while I don’t necessarily want you to accumulate a bunch of terrible toys, your negative reviews just make me guffaw. Highlighting the worst of the worst? Always puts a smile on my face.
And I always like to give back when bloggers are in affiliate programs, but I’m entirely sure how to do that. So maybe some information about the programs you participate in on the about or something would be helpful?

Heck, I have another suggestion . . . I already suggested that you interview people in the sex industry, but you should also have an area in your “About Me” section that is set up as an open public interview for your readers to ask you random questions about yourself. What I have in mind is a place on your blog where they can go to ask your advice about getting started as a reviewer (or anything else that is related to the sex toy industry). I know you get lots of private e-mails with people asking similar questions. This could help you answer those people more efficiently, as your answers would help more than just one person at a time . . . you guru, you!

I’d suggest rigging up a rating scale for the intensity and overall worthiness of each toy. streamlines the review reading process, and allows for easy black and white comparisions between them…
so many good prizes… I’d have to choose between the maverick and the wahl… I’d pick the maverick, then.

How to improve this blog… random cat pictures? More James Deen? More making fun of ridiculous toys? Oh, one thing: when I first tried to subscribe to your blog, I typed my e-mail in the search box instead because I’m kind of a doofus, and “subscribe via RSS” is right above the search box. Maybe you could switch the search and RSS subscription spaces, or do something else to make it more clear?

I subscribe to this blog in RSS and enjoy it a lot — there are a lot of sites that review toys in an unreliable way, and I feel I can trust you. Plus this is a fun site to read. The only suggestion I would have is to post more often, though I understand you can get worn out testing all these things!
My girlfriend Cheri and I have a rule we call “goosey-gander,” meaning I don’t do anything to her that I wouldn’t let her do to me and vice versa. This has led to some amazing fun times with lots of surprises as we turn things around on each other, including both of us wearing the harness sometimes.
We have a seven inch dildo that is made of rubber, it’s thin at the tip, wider at the base. It smells funny and is heavy, it’s impossible to wash thoroughly so we have to put a condom over it when we use it, but it does make Cheri smile (and I am learning to take it, inch by inch). I read what you said about the Vixskin Maverick with interest, and I am sure that would be something we would love. We have looked at it online, and the only problem is that it’s so expensive. I know that the extra thickness and that fat head will make for a great experience for her. And of course, goosey-gander, I hope I’ll be able to handle it eventually, too. [Maverick]

Hmm, suggestions…
I think it’d be cool to have a one-sentence overview for maybe your top 5 in each category you have listed in your toy box (or even more than 5 for some of the big categories like dildos and vibrators and porn). Not necessarily a “this is why this is my favorite” but maybe something about whatever it is that isn’t common? Maybe only do it for some of the really “interesting” things – Eroscillator, njoy Eleven, or on the other end of the spectrum, anything that is cheap but surprisingly awesome for some semi-unexpected reason.

Really, the only thing I could think of for “improving” would be moar pictures! I just like seeing pictures that bloggers take of their toys (regardless of whether they’re artsy/silly/just sitting there) simply to get another view of the toy instead of whatever the standard shop photo is.

*Suggestion: Some of your toy reviews lack photos, or just show the manufacturer’s image. Having real photographs of a product would in itself reveal a great deal, giving a better idea of size, shape, a closer look at its functions, etc. When shopping for a bullet vibrator, I found that most of the photos on all web sites are two-dimensional and superficially represent the items–anything you could provide would be an instant improvement. Thanks!

2) More comparison reviews
3) More about your cat, as in your actually feline animal.
4) Setting your twitter account to public (I only say this becuse i want to see your twitter feed but since I’ve gone back to working with the company of questionable trustworthiness my last lingering shred of shame prevents me from actually send you a follower request)
