Before you bury it in your backyard–perhaps you have a friend that is able to re-wire it? It’s not that difficult to re-wire a basic toy–I’m sure there are websites that show you step-by-step. All you would need is a simple trip to the hardware store for some new wire & wire cutters/strippers.
It’s definitely worth a shot!

@newme21: It's possible, I guess, that this Xtreme Pack is sort-of a dud... but I'm going to see how this Impulse Fantasy Kit works out before I make any more decisions about the Xtreme Pack.

I bought an Xtreme Pack a couple of months ago per your glowing recommendations and I love it!!! And I’m also one who needs major power. So I’m wondering if maybe the new one you received is just not up to par? Maybe try exchanging it for another.

Mine appeared DOA. I plugged it in, turned it on……nada. A few pushes and twists of the wires got it to work, but it’s not perfectly consistent.
And….my Silver Bullet is just that necessary wee bit stronger.

Aww, you could bury it in the back yard, and 1000 yrs from now people can be like “Uhhh???” and use its dead little mechanical body to create an exact replica for their generations.
